Faith

As Christians, once the topic of faith Is raised, everyone becomes a saint and we all act as though we actually have faith in God, but low-key most of us are using human reasoning/psychology.

So I'd take us on a quick journey of what faith is and how it has worked for me as a person.

★ Faith is Total Believe

We're all familiar with the scripture that defines faith as the "Substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen"  Hebrews 11: 1

   You see, most Christians are hoping for things to happen rather than faithing it, we're so used to the word faith that we even forget it's meaning and how we can apply it in our day to day activities.

Faith is suspending all human reasoning and believing in the supernatural, Yes! Faith is Total believe. Yunno, our father Abraham ( Father of faith) had total faith in God that it was accounted to him as "Righteousness" and without faith, no man can please God. 

★Faith Can Be Used in every aspect of life

   There's this quote my pastor says "Faith it until you see it"  He'd also say "What you say consistently you become eventually" 

Now, when I wrote my first putme, the result was so bad that I wasn't going to get admission (Due to the fact that it was CBT, I just did my thing and submitted not knowing I didn't save any of the answers) But my father would tell me to continually say that I've gotten my admission, this I did and even with that score (0%) I got my admission. (Though I had to reject it cause it wasn't my preference) Since then whatever I do or I want to achieve, I've learnt to consistently say it and I've always gotten all.

★Faith is "NOW OR NOW" 

     When we faith things to reality most times, we just hope that sometime someday, we'd get that which we want from God. But, that's not faith. Faith is telling God that "God, it's now or now"

Recently I read a book on faith and the author mentioned that and I felt I should try that too, I've been wanting to get a laptop since last year but somehow I've not gotten it, I even wrote it in my prayer card but It didn't come 

Then this year I put it to myself that it's either I get it this month or I get it. I felt the faith so intimate (Faith came into me as a being) and just 6 days into the year, my laptop is a testimony.

Even in receiving spiritual gifts, you need your faith to be active. My mentor once said "Faith is the currency spent in the heavenly places" i.e getting answered prayers or any gifts from God, you need to deposit your faith to heaven's bank.
