Trusting God


There is this general notion, that before you can trust people with certain big things, you first trust them with little things and see what they do with such before putting bigger things in their care. 

📍Some people find it hard to trust God on little decisions of their life because they feel they can follow every general way of doing things. Some will even say God doesn't give quick answers. Then, it comes to time for making big decisions, they then come to God to seek his approval, help, or something because they realize it's beyond what they can do on their own but somehow they didn't get answers thereby causing them to lose focus on God. We can say this is God's voice saying: " Did you trust me on that little decision that shouldn't have led you to this terrible state" or God saying: "You can't just run to me anytime you feel like". 

📍According to Rev.3:16, God hates lukewarm Ness. You are either in or out, hot or cold. Even our earthly friends don't appreciate it when you just come to them when you need their help. They appreciate it when you hold tight the bond of friendship every time not only in times of need.

📍It is very important to trust God on our little decisions, trust His decisions first no matter how the situation looks so easy. Ask for His leadings first. Don't do these things by your power, you have no idea where these your so-called "small matters" can lead you to.

📍God never fails, but at the same time, He may choose not to do somethings prolly He wants you to learn or know that He doing that thing may not be what is needed at that point, so He may choose not to do it. And so, this is the time to go back to seek His face to know why he is not doing a particular thing.

📍Lack of trust has hindered so many people a lot. God's site is not a dumping site where you will just go to Him only when you need His help. He desires a constant, consistent relationship with you, where you will put Him as your utmost priority in all you do, not that you will neglect Him or overshadow Him with your self will or motives. Luke 9:62( God wants your two legs on this journey.)

📍Give Him a chance over every decision, not just the so-called important ones. Let Him help you in making those wise decisions this year. (Psalm 62:8, 91:2, He is our refuge, so trust Him, Psalm 20:7, only those who trust in His name will stand upright).

📍Get to that level where you know how God speaks and where hearing God is no longer difficult. Build that relationship as this will help you when it comes to seeking His face because you are no longer confused. You are now very sure of His voice to you.

📍God can handle every decision and make the very best results out of that thing you call "little".

📍God is interested in every detail of your life, do involve Him, for He loves you.
