Dear Distinguished __ What is Faith?


Dear Distinguished,

Faith is sitting for Unilag post utme with no back up plan for admission elsewhere. 
She is not sobbing over missed GST/GNS tests because she knows she cannot score less than 50 in the exam. 
And that's a pass. Yeah?

Faith is giving away all her earnings,
Knowing that the God whom she serves will provide all her needs according to His riches in glory. 
She is sowing her seeds with expectations of a bountiful harvest despite the economic groanings. 

Faith is hoping for the best spot available. 
She is believing that on entrance to the main auditorium, 
To her favor will be turned tables.

Faith is running with high expectations
Knowing that she is ever growing and  increasing.
She is set on God's word, she's never turning to depression. 

Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.

 Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].
