DEAR DISTINGUISHED--You Glow

Dear Distinguished,

You are the express image of your Father. God created you and He saw that you are GOOD. Do not let someone brainwash you into inferiority complex due to your height, weight, skin colour or texture. When you take people's comments as compliments, their words will have less negative effects on you.

Who caught that? I'm sure you did. I understood this sometime in 2019 and my perspective on being called 'short' changed. When light shone on me, I began to see the bright side of things. So now if you call me short girl, I'll  smile and give you three reasons to prove my height is cute.

Few months ago, in March, a roommate said to me, 'you're the happiest short person I know. When told they're short, most people flare up in anger but you laugh it off and look for ways to get back at us lol'. It was actually funny and hearing the other ladies in the room affirm it just brought a glow to my face.

Do you really know how beautiful(handsome) you are? The Spirit of the Lord lives and dwells in you! You should wear a smile. You're not flawless or perfect. You're fine and you glow!

Let your light so shine, let the glow of your candle light up other candles.

Selah,
The Distinguished.
