The Battle Axe

The battle-axe is an axe specifically designed for combat(fighting). Many are suitable for use in one hand while others are larger and deployed two-handed.
Your axe differs, so also our purposes are different.

Jeremiah 51:20-23, God said it here that we are his battle axe.
Remember that battle axe is an axe for combat. God knows in this world, we will be made to fight in a way that God will be using us to FIGHT

He is the one in charge of the battle we may be going through but he had made us his weapons of war and we will be used to get the victory

We are sent to this world to come to take over in any sphere because we have the power given to us by the one in charge of the battle. He made us great fighters to fight over whatever darkness of this world, the things not in place thereby bringing victory to his name and to be an overcomer in all.
Looking at the works of a battle axe, let's see:

Majorly, the work of a battle axe is for fighting and that's what God will have us do because we fight for a lot of things and against some things ( justice, right, salvation, the gospel, some things that don't just come easily, kingdom of darkness)

- As God's battle axe, he uses us to destroy things that can't bear fruit, things not of God. We are really important. Matthew 3:10
-Psalms 35:3- Blocking the way of our enemies, through that bringing light through their salvation

- The battle-axe is capable of cutting off a limb or ahead in one blow...How important we are as God's battle axe
His strength in us just in one fight will give us a lot of victories
But in all of this, let's understand the fact that:

- It is God that made you for him. You didn't create yourself, so your utmost priority must be on the one who created you. Trusting him to lead you and leaning on his words as the leader of the battle. Proverbs 3:5

- Sometimes this axe is usually wielded with both hands. So it occurred to me that, if a warrior wielded this axe with both hands to kill an enemy and another enemy has taken that opportunity to wield his axe to kill this particular warrior. The only thing this warrior can do to avoid being touched is to shield himself from the enemy by using an armour.
What is our armour?

Ephesians 6:13- God is our armour. Leave and surrender yourself to God, letting God serve as your shield of protection, letting his angels build around you camp of fire.

You must never neglect him in any of your battles. His place is very important, we can't overemphasize it.

-Isaiah 41:15-16- God will build us, we will do a whole lot if we have him take his place in us, we will beat down mountains. He has promised us victory even before any battle. Romans 8:37,1 Corinthians 15:57...we have victory through our Lord

- As God's battle axe, you must sharpen yourself spiritually. You don't have to be dull when the one who sent you to fight has all the wisdom you need. The Bible should be your source of light and strength. Get wisdom from God and let Him lead you. James 1:5, James 3:17
