Loving Who You Are

A lot of people these days do not love themselves. Therefore, they tend to give them self little self worth. You always have to remember, you didn't create yourself and the God who created you doesn't make mistakes. So when you begin to feel like you don't have it, a part of you doesn't fit, just remember that God created you! And that every single detail about you is perfect, from your head to your toe, physically, spiritually and mentally.

You need to be proud of who you are. Now don't get me wrong, I never said you should walk about feeling proud and making others feel less of themselves because we all know "pride cometh before fall". I never said that and I never will. I'm going to be talking about how loving yourself can improve your state of thinking.

* Loving yourself makes you wake up with a smile and appreciate God: When you love yourself you wake up with deep appreciation thanking God for making you the way you are. Instead of complaining and telling Him things you wish He didn't put in you. Take it or leave it, those things He put in you are just your own definition of perfection.

* It makes you know your self worth: This is very important! It's very important to know your self worth i.e. know what you deserve and what you don't deserve. I have a friend who always want to be in a relationship. Every time she leaves one, she enters another and the problem is none of them treats her right. It's either she gets beaten or shouted at or disrespected.
She complained to me and I told her "you're still young and it is never an abomination to stay on your own and figure yourself out. You don't need a boy who doesn't even have the same destiny with you before you realize that you have a journey to embark on. You need to know your self worth and give yourself that respect so others would learn to respect you. Those people just use you because they don't know your worth and you've been failing to show them. Try to be on your own and know what you really are. Don't let others start to define you to you"
Knowing your self worth is really important, it makes you know when and where to talk. It makes you stand firm when you making a decision.

* It makes life feel easier: Of course it has become too hard to deny that sometimes life can be tough, so loving yourself makes it easier for you. You won't have to wake up everyday calling yourself a failure maybe because you didn't get that job or into that school you love. But it makes you realize that life is hard and you just move with the hope that one day it would be your turn to celebrate your success. You wouldn't be hitting yourself so hard when you know you tried because whether or not you like it life isn't fair, some get it and some don't.

Now loving yourself doesn't mean you go around having attitudes, I've met tons of people with attitudes. Most people just tell you they love themselves the way they are even with the attitudes. Learning to love yourself or loving yourself doesn't mean you have to enjoy making people hate themselves and saying words to people that will bring them down. You love yourself, you don't want to ruin yourself and yes we all have bad habits but accepting that you have a fault can go a long way in your life. It makes the process of healing easier, when you know and accept you have a bad attitude or character, you are aware of it and it makes you want to be sensitive to know when you doing that.

Loving yourself has definitely not been the easiest part to some people πŸ˜” but as I said earlier life isn't easy but we live it anyway.
You need to learn to love yourself, so what? They tell you, you have a big ear, don't listen it makes you perfect, they tell you that you are not normal. Well who knows the definition of normal anyways? Just learn to be that version of yourself that makes you feel happy and proud of who you are, that makes you wanna stand tall in the midst of crowd. You're too tall, you're too short, you have a big ear, you have a big nose, you're too fat, you're too thin... Take all these as compliments in disguise. If you need a self confidence boost, take a look at the mirror every day, compliment yourself and feel pretty then others judgement shouldn't be a problem.  That's what I do. If you love yourself that's good and if you don't, then start doing it. If you want to learn, learn it quick because in this long race of life all you are ever going to have is you and your maker.

The Bible also says "Love your neighbors as yourself" {Lev 19 vs 18b} come to think of it, how would you show your neighbor love when you don't love yourself?
BELOVED, LOVE YOURSELF... ✌️
