A Letter from Tamar
Dear distinguished,
You might not have heard about me or let's say you know a little about my plight.
By chance, you might be a little ignorant about my existence just because you might have not taken cognizance of that book called the Bible. In it lies answers to your numerous questions.
I happened to be amongst the numerous characters in the Bible and I played a very important role in life and also faced a challenging situation which I will love to share with you.
I was so beautiful that my own brother had a lustful desire over me.
2 Samuel 13:1 And it came to pass after this, that Absalom the son of David had a fair sister, whose name was Tamar; and Amnon the son of David loved her.
2 Samuel 13:2 And Amnon was so vexed, that he fell sick for his sister Tamar; for she was a virgin; and Amnon thought it hard for him to do anything to her.
He had a friend who happened to be our cousin. This cousin of ours aided him in his desires. I trust that one day he will also write to you.
To cut the story short, a bad counsel was given to my brother who heeded to this cunny cousin of ours. Don't forget your friends also have friends who they also run to for counsels.
As beautiful as I was, I had gone too far to trust a brother and to heed to the innocent instruction of David my father the King, to go to my brother's chambers who pretended to be sick.
A virgin I was, and I have kept this so far not to be taken for granted In my pains I remembered how it felt to be raped by a brother who I trusted so much. At the end he despised me and caused so much pain and trouble. To be sincere with you, the pain was unbearable.
Now that you know a little about me and how I was raped why not learn and be wise. There may be more to this, but I have decided to share this little with you. You can check the remaining with the reference I will give you later.
Why should you choose to go to his chambers for trust's sake. Should that be normal to you? Please establish boundaries and fences. It will go a long way to help you. Instructions may be passed out of innocence and Love. Even in that you should know better. God's inspiration truly gives understanding and insight.
A loving thing about you is that you have the Holy Spirit at your time. Why not develop a sound relationship with Him. He knows more than you can imagine. Take quality time to speak to him and obey Him. I couldn't see the future neither could my father. But God can and He has helped you with His spirit who will teach you all things. Do not take Him for granted. Take quality time to walk with Him. Learn of Him and listen to him carefully and at all times
You are loved and you are the daughter of a King. Stay safe and dwell in God's love your father...
Much love from a princess, Tamar.
