DEAR DISTINGUISHED--Abide To Abound♥

Dear Distinguished,
Did you miss me? I'll take you out for dinner after...

Scrap that! Scrap it!! I'm taking no one out for dinner please. How did that line get here? Thinking about it, it's actually a line from one song in the movie "Let it Shine". I'm no movie freak so don't ask me who produced, directed or acted in it- thank you.

You wonder how I manage to remember it? I used to meditate on the songs. I literally had the lyrics of all the songs crammed up in my small head (and it's really small). Imagine that I had used that space to cram dy/dx. I wouldn't be any better I'm sure.

However, if I had heeded the call to abide in the vine, we'd probably not be having this conversation. At most, we'd be looking at another angle. This angle would have included fruits. If only I had recalled he that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruits;  cause without me, ye can do nothing.

Alas you have a clean slate! So do I because the life I now live, I live in Christ Jesus. I have received a charge, I'm sending it to you now 》》 Abide in the ground, grow out of your covering, endure the pruning and abound therein with thanksgiving. That they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Let your light so shine is equivalent to how much effect this charge has on your candle.

Selah,
The Distinguished.

  2. P.S: In conclusion, why is it that we remember songs we learnt way back as 2012 but don't seem to recall what we were taught in Grade 8?
Has anybody ever applied 'factorization' or formular method to a real life issue?
I know of logic and probability and permutations being used in day to day activities but what about x=-b +/-[square root of b^2-4ac]/2a? I don't even know if I got the formula, lmao.
I want to hear your views abeg. If you ignore, your helper will not ignore you l'oruko Jesu♥

    1. What I can say is that we actually remember songs because we willingly learn it... But for formula and the likes most time we actually cramp it just to know and pour down during exams..

    2. Yurrrrr
I get your point. I can't imagine myself loving formulas so I just cram and pour.
Thanks for your brilliant comment dear♥

  4. I actually think the issue as regards the memory of songs is that of the mind. Consciously or unconsciously we tend to pick up what our mind desires as much as we choose to like it
