To DT!!!

"B, are we there yet?" My friend, Faith, asked.
"We are close by. Can't you hear the laughs from the building?"
We walked further more and entered the building. Faith was stunned. "Wow." She uttered seeing a large number of teenagers. Smiles on each face. Conversations going on in every corner. Some holding hands and speaking life over each other. Some mouths filled with food. It's buzzing in here.
"What is it with the orange lights above us?" Faith inquired.
"Oh, that, it depicts their creativity. These guys are creative. It's not hype, it's the truth," I replied, winking at her.
We took our seats beside each other. I looked around for any eyes that may see/think otherwise.
"Guy, won't you get me a drink?" Faith said, giving me that look that says, 'you-don't-know-how-to-treat-a-lady.'
"Hey, Bolu."
I looked behind to see who was calling me. It was Lami, holding two glass of fruit wine, wearing the usual glasses that gives him that nerdy look. I consider him as one (if you know, you know).
His white shirt was glistening and also tucked in his blue jeans. Shoes well polished. Talking about, 'this guy has style.'
"Wow, you look good. Hot hot," I said to Lami.
"They are not ready. You are not bad, yourself," Lami replied, beaming with smiles. He continued, "I saw you from afar. Thank you for gracing the event." He dropped the two glasses of wine on the table.
"Oh, my apologies, meet my friend, Faith."
"Hi Faith, my name is Lami." Extending his hands towards her.
"It's an honor to finally meet you. You are one of the leaders at DT," Faith replied, shaking hands.
"Yup," Lami replied shyly. "And Bolu has talked about inviting a girl who he considers his best friend."
Faith turned her head towards me, I raised my head looking up, moving my tongue with my mouth closed.
"I will leave you both now," said Lami. He walked away, waving his hand to someone.
"Ehn, ehn"
"Let's not talk about it, Faith," I smiled.
"Okurrrrr. By the way, why are they called Distinguished Teenagers? I mean what makes them distinguished?"
"It's Him," I replied.
"Can you be clear?"
"Ok. When I say, 'Him', I mean Jesus. He is the one that makes every one of us distinguished and that includes you. After all, it's one of your many nicknames, your excellency," I said.
"Jesus is everything here. He is the source of life, that's why the glow hits different," I continued.
Faith was about to say something when we heard the sound of glass. Every head turned towards that direction.
It was from a lady, dressed in black, I can call her a brown skin girl. She was standing at the podium with a glass of wine in her left hand.
"Who is that?" Faith whispered to me.
"Jibs. Ajibike."
"Oh, the one you talked about. She is a leader here at Dt. She looks pretty."
I nodded affirmatively.
"Shall we? To DT," Jibs said, raising her glass of wine up.
Everyone followed suit.
"To DT!" We chorused.
