Ignore

I sat in my room on a good afternoon and all I could hear were the barks of dogs. They weren't disturbing me because they were not even close to where I was, so, basically,  I had no business with them and all  I had to do was to ignore the barking dogs. I might have chosen not to ignore these dogs if I realized they were giving me signs of alertness or even attention.

❗Most times, all we have to do is to ignore the "shouts" of this world because we have a focus, we have a destination. In as much as our goal and focus are not in line with the shouts of this world, then we must learn to ignore and place our focus on heavenly affections.

John 18:36, we are in this world but not of this world

❗Some people just come to you and all they say is not in line with what God has told you, their words just come to weigh you down, all you have to do is to stand on the promises of God which are ever sure. 2 Corinthians 7:1.

❗The words that come from these people may be a form of distraction or even fear of your goal or destination. Don't be afraid to pull these words down and stand on the words of God. Romans 8:15

❗Ignore false teachings and doctrines, let your spirit be aligned with God always, for all the truth you need can be found in his words. Some teachings sounds so true but not true, but the standard truth lies in his words. Be very careful. Walk in the spirit and you will be led by God always(Romans 8:14). Let the wisdom of God guide you always.

❗Ignore the words of those that don't add any form of value to your life, they may bring you down in any way

❗But you can't Ignore some words, let's note this. Warnings, teachings, corrections from God's throne. Don't block your ears when higher authorities talk to you, don't close your ears and mind to great corrections, they are to mold, make you better, walk-in and fulfill your purpose and make a great impact.

❗In good, confused, desperate moments, learn to communicate with the holy spirit. He will give you clarity in every area. (John 14:16,26). Let your mind be positioned in line with the spirit of God(Galatians 5:25).

 Galatians5:16. Walk in the spirit and also ignore the lust of the flesh, the things of this world.

We started talking and he went to the issue of kissing but this time, he said he would not force me if I wasn't ready. I was deeply in love with him. (or so you thought) I closed all the windows so no one would see us and I said “Kiss me”.
