Give-aways

Certain opportunities exist which we sometimes neglect or look down on. Here is one called giveaways.

With the proven number of persons who in one way or the other have gotten a great deal, you never can tell, time and chance might have happened to them.

Although there exist certain terms and conditions, one needs to be careful in agreeing to some. Others might just come consciously or unconsciously for fun, charity, or the likes. It might even be to stir a group to make a group lively if all group members decide to be silent.

In all these, be open as certain things might be learned.

Ignorance

Yeah! I didn’t know and all those excuses will put you at a disadvantage. This can be very painful. At a point in time, some credit digits were given at a giveaway. It was somehow different from the normal way I loaded credit. I had written down the numbers first with a *555* & # already in place. My ignorance made me wait for a while expecting other digits. Little did I know that there was another way to load this and this time around it wasn’t the normal 25 digits.

Desires

One man’s meat may be another man’s poison but your desires may be another man’s obsession. It will be better you understand that that position you desire wasn’t just created for you alone. There is a competition out there. Even those things that are freely given shouldn't be taken for granted. That grace you have is what others pray hard for. Take heed! The position you think it's just one normal thing is what is admired by many. God did not just give you what is desired by no one. 

Act fast

Who does that? Have you ever witnessed a giveaway where it was said that the first six persons to type their account numbers will get a reward? Do you find replies coming in hours? I doubt it. At such times when opportunities arise they shouldn’t be taken for granted. So the next time you see one coming, you act fast. Sometimes, we pray to God for this and that. Once He provides them, consciously or unconsciously we choose to take it with levity. Time waits for no one.

That’s little that could be learned, who knows you might have more. So, the next time you are privileged to be in a giveaway, let it not be heard that you didn't win anything o.
