The thirty mighty warriors


Were you ever clouded by how much honour is conferred upon persons around you that you felt so insignificant? Maybe to a degree, you thought that was the height of it, and there was no room for you. Hey! It's not a competition but a mandate, your shining! 

The story of Benaiah. His tales for your inspiration.
Hi there! I am Benaiah, son of Jehoiada, a valiant warrior from Kabzeel. I did many heroic deeds, which included killing two champions of Moab. Another time, on a snowy day, I chased a lion down into a pit and killed it.

Come on! You didn't smile or give applause. Is it because I openly declared what I did 😂 You better celebrate grace 🤲🏽 By the way, my name means Yahweh builds up. You can name one of your kids that if you don't mind 😉 

We all have our differences, and something makes us stand out amongst the crowd. Yeah, there's enough place for everyone if only every person walks in their lane. 

David was our King and a great one indeed. As his soldiers, we were willing to sacrifice our lives for him and our kingdom. In all of these, amongst us were men of valor. Some exceptional warriors did stand out in our midst. The thirty mighty men existed of which I belong. Nevertheless, the three mightiest warriors were there. 

I celebrate and honour them, for they were exceptional and noble. 

Where was I, amongst the thirty? What about being among the three? Maybe that was their own space, and competing for that, oh! I wouldn't, for in pursuing that, I would lose myself. 
Here's my tale 

I was more honored than the other members of the Thirty, though I was not one of the Three. And David made me captain of his bodyguard. Deeds like those I earlier mentioned when you refused to applaud me 😂 made me as famous as the three mightiest warriors.

Here's the catch! 

More than the branding and grouping, you matter, so dare to make a difference. You are more than you think, so live that life in humility, glorifying God. 

I have a war to prepare for, and my swords aren't sharp enough.
