Why worry?

I found myself ranting at my mum the other day because I had an issue I wanted to solve with her at that moment.

I needed clarity on this issue which made me go to her with such aggression. After shouting for some minutes, she told me to leave her presence in that instance.

I was too sure I was right on this, but I lacked the right approach. So, I took the issue to the Holy Spirit. He told me to take a pause then go back to talk to her after some minutes. He also gave me a clue on how to approach her.

Not too long, my mum called me on a different matter. I was able to raise the issue, and we solved it so well.

Many times, we, as children of God pull up this same attitude to God. Truly, we may be going through a lot at some point when it then comes to talking with God. Our way and manner of approach to Him may be the hindrance to getting our answers immediately. Sometimes, we think we are talking to God, but what we do, is worry and rant. This makes God's attention shift away at that point.

Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God- Philippians 4:6

The verse above gives us the right manner to approach God.

God knows all of our worries, and He also wants to hear us talk to Him about them. Your shouts, your rants to God show that you may not appreciate Him or give Him the right Honour.

Nobody appreciates when people shout at them especially when you even need something from them.

David was a man after God's heart because he knew the way to His heart, Praises, Thanksgiving.  Esther offered the king a banquet before she presented her case to the king which helped her get his attention.

Know what God desires of you to get His full attention. Be intentional about appreciating God before throwing all your "bubbles" on Him, because He knows all you are going through, and He also cares about you. Look back always and live your life with constant praises to God. He appreciates it and will also go an extra length for you.

He cares about you!
